Be A Visionary For Love
Paula Whang-Ramos
“You are Love itself. Live that way.”
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian. CSE Daily Inspiration 10/19/2023
In Yoga and other wisdom traditions, one of the names of the Source of life is “Divine Love”. Divine Love is an eternal Presence and creative power that enlivens, cares for and inspires all of creation – including every one of us and all life on the planet. It is unconditional love Itself. It loves beyond and even in spite of current and changing earth life conditions. It loves beyond time and space and perceived earth life differences.
Divine Love is Love with a capital “L”. This Love is stronger than our greatest perceived weakness, deeper than our greatest loss, and more fierce than our greatest fear. Divine Love is not the small "l" kind of conditional emotionally reactive love that rises and falls based on the ego’s level of comfort or fulfillment. Divine Love is unapologetically compassionate, kind, courageous, forgiving, accepting, patient, unifying, silent, and whole, regardless of the noise in our minds and our earth lives. It inspires us to learn to use our lives as visionary expressions of wisdom, peace, and healing in the face of ignorance, violence, and loss.
What would our lives be like if we chose, again and again, to open, surrender, and live in Divine Love? What if we actively sought out or waited for Divine Love to be revealed from within us before we act or react to a challenging situation in our lives? How might our own lives and the footprint we leave in all of life be enhanced if we chose to live from unconditional Divine Love, instead of the limitations of conditional love? What could your own life be like if you lived as a visionary for Love?

The Power Of Soul Wisdom
Paula Whang-Ramos
“The knowledge we acquire becomes wisdom when it transforms our will and character for good.”
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 10/12/2023
In Yoga philosophy, knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing. Knowledge is information perceived, acquired, and processed by the ego mind. The mind may use this information to figure out how to be right, how to win, or how to solve a problem in our daily lives. When the mind successfully completes these intellectual exercises, the ego can feel like it has achieved a worthy accomplishment! But all this work is not wisdom or even the basis of wisdom. Wisdom is not acquired, calculated, or won by the mind.
Wisdom is a quality inherent in the soul. Our souls. All souls. Wisdom does not seek to win or control anything. Instead, wisdom seeks to be remembered and lived through us. And the good news is that all the soul wisdom we need to live in the highest way already resides within us. When we live from soul wisdom, all knowledge can be used to reveal deeper insight, intuition, and inspiration of our essential peace, love, and wholeness.
Soul wisdom reminds us of the Source of inherent goodness, worth, and wisdom within all of life. When we realize that we are all already worthy and wise, then every controlling desire of the mind can serve as a divine opportunity to cultivate cooperation, peace, and lives more fulfilling than the most knowledgeable mind could ever imagine - for all beings.

Supported In The Source
Paula Whang-Ramos
“Do not be distracted by conditions. Remember that every situation is temporary,
subject to change. Learn to see through it all and rely on the Source beyond the appearance.”
—Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian CSE Daily Inspiration 04-09-2022
In yoga philosophy, the Source of all that is is eternal and unchanging. It remains ever whole, wise, peaceful, and unconditionally loving. As individual expressions of the one Source, at our core, we are also eternally whole, wise, peaceful, and unconditionally loving. This is not just true for us. In yoga, this is true for all beings everywhere. Yet sometimes it may feel like too big of an ask for us to expand our attention and awareness into this wholeness. When that happens, we can still rely on the Source to hold and heal us through challenging times. Yoga philosophy teaches us that no matter how strong our confusion is, divine wisdom is stronger. No matter how deep our grief is, divine love is stronger. No matter how broken life seems, divine wholeness is stronger. No matter how great our conflict is, divine peace is stronger.
Right now, the Source remains intimately close and eternally ready to hold and love us through our grief, tears, hopes, and prayers. Each in-breath can return our attention and awareness toward the indwelling divine love, peace, wisdom, and oneness within us all. With each out-breath, we can choose to let go of the mind’s limitations and surrender into the Source of love, peace, wisdom, and oneness flowing all around us right now. We can use each breath to compassionately help ourselves and each other remember that we are all one, held, loved, and blessed in oneness. We can do it because we are all already individual expressions of It. For the highest good of ourselves and all beings, will you join me in this breath to grieve, hope, pray, and remember right now?

The Power Of Gratitude
Paula Whang-Ramos
“Cultivate a grateful heart, and your mind will become receptive to divine inspiration and the provision of grace.”
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 07-24-23
What am I grateful for? Each morning and throughout the day, I offer a simple prayer of gratitude for all that arises in this life. It is an uplifting way to begin the day! But the subject of my gratefulness is not as important as the practice of intentional gratitude. A steadfast gratitude practice throughout the day can cultivate an even-mindedness that opens us into the possibility of contentment and peace, even in the presence of circumstances that may scare us. But the real power of a gratitude practice arises, not from the naming of desired circumstances in our lives or even a calm mind.
A persistent, deep gratitude practice expands our attention beyond the mind, into the soul's awareness of the eternal Source of provision for our entire lives. When we forget to be grateful, our gratitude practice can help us return to this indwelling divine presence, power and wisdom – always ready and waiting to inspire us through all life circumstances. In soul gratitude, we can expand into our full potential as the divine beings we are. We can make a sacred space for that divine inspiration and grace to enter into our lives. And that space is a cleansing breath for the mind and a blessing of divine possibility in our lives. What are you grateful for right now?

Where Clarity And Peace Reside
Paula Whang-Ramos
“Clarity comes when we open our heart and surrender to the goodness of the higher Self. Peace is the calling card of true inner guidance.”
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian, A Single Blade of Grass, p. 17
Ever-present beneath the stress and confusion that can arise when we view difficult choices from the mind, is the inner peace and clarity of the soul. In the silence of the soul, the still, small voice of our divine wisdom is always available to us when we pause, slow down, and go within to the core of our being. Even an overactive, distracted mind can learn to focus, concentrate, and surrender into the inner peace that indwells us all. How can our busy minds find clarity to live in the highest way?
Daily superconscious meditation is the foundational practice into the silence and the divine wisdom that indwells us all. Superconscious meditation helps us learn to listen from the peaceful heart. It helps busy minds remember that inner peace is not found outside the Self. In meditation, the mind learns to become quiet and follow a deeper wisdom. With steadfast practice, we surrender into our eternal nature, where clarity and peace reside. As we learn to trust soul wisdom, these divine qualities can inspire and guide us through the blessings and growing edges of our lives.
