“If anything disturbs your peace, practice having faith that divine grace is already actively at work restoring wholeness and well-being.

Then make any necessary adjustments in harmony with that insight.”

Open To Divine Presence
Paula Whang-Ramos

"Be mindful of the divine inspiration awaiting your cooperation. Stay open and willing."
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 10/07/2025

In Chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita, a foundational spiritual text for yoga and meditation, we meet divine Krishna. Krishna symbolizes the innate divine wisdom, presence, and wholeness that indwells us all. However, to experience our divine Self, we must be receptive to a more spiritually conscious way of being, listening, and living. In Chapter 1, we met Arjuna, who represents us, the sincere spiritual seeker. Arjuna is so emotionally overwhelmed by his life that he spends much of the chapter defending his fear and stifling his ability to directly experience this divine power within himself. Being closed and unwilling, Arjuna becomes an unwitting victim of his self-created mental suffering.

Thankfully, in Chapter 2, enter Krishna, the divinely blessed breath of fresh air, to the stressed-out, distracted Arjuna mind. Krishna/divine wisdom offers encouragement mixed with a bit of tough love to help Arjuna/us remember that we are so much more than our life circumstances and our reactions to them. Our innate divine wisdom is always present, waiting for us to hear its reminders that we are part of a much larger, more powerful, eternally peaceful, and always wise Source of life.

The Gita offers us a path of spiritual maturity to live in harmony with the innate wisdom within us all. Let's lay down our Arjuna stories of limitation and learn to thrive in our innate Krishna wisdom. Join us at CSE and BLC for meditation and Bhagavad Gita Study. Learn to cooperate with the Source of good that waits to be lived through you now. Newcomers to yoga, meditation, and the Gita are all welcome.

Living In The Highest Way
Paula Whang-Ramos

"Our likes and dislikes color our perceptions, and if we are not aware of them,
they obscure our ability to be open to possibility. Stay open to yet unknown good
."
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 09/30/2025

As we complete our study of Chapter One of the Bhagavad Gita, the main character, Arjuna, is completely overcome with frustration, fear, and stress at his current life circumstances. His emotional reactions totally cloud his ability to realize the inner divine power, presence, and wisdom available within himself, as symbolized by Krishna, the other main character. In the Gita, Arjuna represents us, sincere seekers trying to live in the highest way as we navigate the circumstances of daily life.

In this tradition of Kriya Yoga, we learn to live from the wholeness of our spiritual integrity (i.e., Krishna consciousness) by first learning to quiet the distracted, reactive mind. We use specific time-tested practices to expand our awareness and redirect our attention into the indwelling divine power, presence, and wisdom that is always available within us. And we learn how to live from this higher consciousness, deeper clarity, and unapologetic inner peace. How do we open into and live from this innate higher good within us all? Join us for meditation and weekly Gita study this Tuesday. Meet Krishna, our innate divine wisdom, and experience this expanded awareness for yourself.
